Viktor Orbán on the Danube Summit
2010. március 3., 14:49
'Hungary has to end the era of weak governments', said the Fidesz chairmanafter his discussions at the recent Summit in a video on his Facebook page.

Viktor Orbán added that only a strong Hungarian government will be able to restore the country's reputation in Central Europe. This way the country will be able to take a suitable part in the construction of an economic region containing significant economic potential and in which a 'strong Hungarian economy can do a lot in order for the whole of Central Europe to become a worthy economic and trading partner of Western Europe.'

'The key to success is whether we will be able to build up a Central European economic zone', he said. In Orbán's opinion the countries involved can only expect expanding markets, new trading opportunities and new jobs from a strong Central European economic zone. The European Union does not replace the economic cooperation of Central European countries and for Hungary to meet its expectations in such a region, it has to become strong, because 'only the strong trust one another.'
