One must talk about these despite the PM threatening with legal action, said Róbert Répássy, director of Fidesz's parliamentary group at a press conference. Fidesz thinks it is the government's duty to strengthen the country. It is therefore nonsense that such a man wants to lead the country who is weakening it through his business activities. The aim of off-shore activities is obvious: to take the income produced in a given country abroad in order to evade paying tax at home. If a prime minister takes part in such businesses it sends a message that he himself does not trust his own country. This is a very significant case; such accusations have never been raised against any prime minister. The next government will not differentiate on a legal basis according to the positions held. ‘Equality before the law will be applied in every case', said Róbert Répássy.
