The Fidesz chairman pointed out that ‘on 11 April we can put an end to the shameful politics of the past eight years and can open a new era where the Hungarian nation can regain its self-respect.' The incompetent governments of the past eight years have only been interested in their own selfish financial interests and brought shame on Hungary. The coming elections will be "our revolution" that will unify the nation once again and will bring fast, predictable and constitutional, therefore safe changes without human losses. With good governance we can fight against unemployment, give boost to the economy, save the health care system and recreate law and order and public security, said Viktor Orbán.
On 11 April not only will we vote for a new government, but much more: we will vote for our new future. The only political force in Hungary that can offer hope today is Fidesz, he said, adding that the next government should be a government of national issues and he is committed to do his best to achieve this aim.
